Spangle Bling Pressing Instructions
Get ready to sparkle! Our spangle bling transfers are lightweight, flat and breathable, and they'll be noticed from across the stadium. Here's how to press them so every spangle stays put.
Quick Settings
- Temperature: 280°F–300°F
- Time: 10–15 seconds
- Pressure: Heavy
- Peel: Warm peel (not hot, not cold)
- Second press: Only if needed: 4–5 seconds with parchment paper or a Teflon sheet
Step-by-Step
- Preheat: Heat your press to 280°F–300°F.
- Pre-press: Lint roll the garment, then press it for 10 seconds to remove wrinkles and moisture.
- Remove the backing: Peel off the white backing. The spangles stay on the clear, sticky carrier sheet. If a spangle shifted in shipping, use tweezers to put it back in place.
- Position: Place the transfer sticky side down onto the fabric, sparkle side up, so you can read the design.
- Press: Press firmly for 10–15 seconds with heavy pressure. Do not use extra-high heat or steam.
- Peel: Let it cool for a few seconds, then slowly peel the clear carrier sheet while it's warm. Tip: rubbing the design with a cloth before peeling helps the spangles grab.
- Touch-up (if needed): If any spangles aren't fully stuck, cover with parchment or a Teflon sheet and press again for 4–5 seconds. Do not put the sticky carrier sheet back on.
Fabric Tips
- Great on cotton, cotton/poly blends, sweatshirts, hoodies, and canvas totes.
- Test first on heat-sensitive fabrics like 100% polyester or nylon.
Care Instructions
- Wait 24 hours before washing.
- Wash inside out in cold water on a gentle cycle.
- No bleach or fabric softener.
- Hang dry or tumble dry low.
- Do not iron directly on the spangles.

- Please use a commercial-grade heat press. We do not recommend a Cricut EasyPress or household iron.
