Screen Print Pressing Instructions
Our screen print transfers (printed on white paper) give you that classic, soft, durable screen-printed look. Here's how to press them.
Quick Settings
- Temperature: 350°F
- Time: 7 seconds
- Pressure: Heavy
- Peel: Hot peel
- Second press: Optional: 5 seconds with parchment paper or a Teflon sheet if any edges lift
Step-by-Step
- Pre-press: Press the blank garment for 5–10 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
- Position: Place the transfer print side down on the garment.
- Press: Press at 350°F for 7 seconds with heavy pressure.
- Peel: Peel the paper right away while hot, in one smooth motion.
- Touch-up (if needed): If anything lifts, cover with parchment or a Teflon sheet and press again for about 5 seconds.
Fabric Tips
- Made for 100% cotton and cotton blends.
- Test first on polyester and other heat-sensitive fabrics.
Care Instructions
- Wait 24 hours before the first wash.
- Wash inside out on a cool cycle.
- No bleach or fabric softener.
- Hang dry or tumble dry low.
Good to Know
- Please use a commercial-grade heat press. We do not recommend a Cricut EasyPress or household iron.
- Dazzling Darlings Boutique is not liable for damage that happens during or after application.
