Custom Single Color Screen Print Transfers
Your design, printed as a real plastisol screen print transfer in ONE ink color. Perfect for small businesses, teams, schools, churches, family reunions and events that need the same design on a lot of shirts. The more you order, the less you pay per print!
WHY YOU'LL LOVE THEM
- 100% screen printed with plastisol ink for a durable, athletic-style feel that holds up wash after wash.
- Bright, opaque coverage on both light and dark garments, including dark cotton and 50/50 blends.
- Helps keep dye from bleeding through on 100% polyester.
- Quick hot-peel application: 7 seconds on the press and you're done.
- No setup fees. Minimum order is 10 prints (one 10 pack).
- 43 Pantone matched ink colors, including 4 metallics.
WORKS ON
- 100% cotton
- 100% polyester
- Cotton/poly blends
- Neoprene
Not sure about a fabric? Check the garment's fabric content before you order and watch for special coatings (a waterproof jacket is not just polyester). Always test press one first.
HOW TO ORDER
- Pick your pack size (every print in the pack is the SAME design and the SAME ink color).
- Upload your artwork on this page before adding to cart.
- Choose your ink color from the Ink Color dropdown. All 43 colors are Pantone matched (see the color chart in the photos). Metallic Silver, Gold, Copper and Rose Gold are +$5 per pack.
- In the notes, tell us the width or height you want your print.
- Need a different design or color? Add it to your cart as a separate pack.
SIZE & PRINT AREA
- Your design can be any size up to 12" x 12".
- Each transfer is one design meant to be pressed in one spot (it isn't meant to be cut apart into smaller pieces).
- We print at the width or height you give us in the notes, so double check your measurement before checking out.
ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS
- We accept PDF, AI, EPS, PSD, PNG, JPG and TIFF files. For the cleanest print, send a vector file (PDF, AI or EPS) or a PSD. If you send a PNG, make it high resolution (300 DPI) with a transparent background. Using Corel Draw? Save your file as a PDF first.
- One solid color only, no gradients, shading or tiny distressed specks.
- Send your art the way it should read on the shirt. Please don't mirror it.
- Keep lines at least 1 pt thick and open spaces (gaps inside letters and shapes) at least 2 pt wide. Anything thinner may not print cleanly.
- If you build your design in a design program, convert or flatten your text so the fonts don't change.
- Please do not send screenshots or images pulled from social media; they print blurry.
- One design per pack. Designs cannot be mixed within a pack.

PRESSING
- Temperature: 300-350°F
- Time: 7 seconds
- Pressure: Heavy
- Peel: Hot, right away
- Use a commercial heat press. Take off any teflon sheet, cover or pressing pillow; you don't need them, and they keep heat from reaching the transfer.
- Pre-press the garment for 5-7 seconds to remove wrinkles and moisture.
- Lay the garment flat with seams, zippers and buttons hanging off the edge of the platen so the press sits evenly.
- Place the transfer ink side down, touching the garment (double check it isn't upside down).
- Press for 7 seconds with heavy pressure.
- Open the press and peel right away while hot. Hold the garment steady and pull the paper back diagonally from one corner in one smooth, steady motion.
Pressing tips: Not enough pressure is the #1 reason a transfer doesn't stick, so make sure your press is set to heavy. An infrared temperature gun is an easy way to check that your press is heating evenly and to the right temperature. If your press runs a little cool, try going up about 10°F. Household irons and craft presses can't give enough pressure and may affect how well the print washes. Full details: Screen Print Pressing Instructions.
WASH & CARE
- Let your pressed garments lay flat for 24-48 hours to fully cure before folding or washing.
- Wash inside out in cold water.
- No bleach or fabric softener.
- Hang dry for the longest life, or tumble dry low.
- Do not iron directly on the design.
GOOD TO KNOW
- Ink colors may look slightly different on screen than in person.
- Because every order is custom made, custom transfers are not returnable or refundable.
- We are not responsible for transfers that are pressed incorrectly; please test press first.
